We do our best to eliminate long waiting periods within the office, and generally run on time for our appointments. However, we have a policy of trying to see patients with emergency problems as soon as possible, so please bear with us if we are occasionally a few minutes behind.
If you do have a dental emergency, please try to call as early in the day as possible so that we can accommodate you. Since we do not overbook patients and specific blocks of time are reserved especially for you, please notify our office at least 48 hours in advance if you must cancel an appointment.
Insurance and Billing
Our staff will gladly answer your questions concerning fees and payments, and invite discussion of these items prior to treatment whenever possible. In order to keep our fees as low as possible, payment at the time of service is expected for all office visits and procedures.
We will be happy to answer your insurance related questions and help you file insurance forms. Our staff will do everything it can to assist you in recovering payment from your insurance company. For your convenience, we can accept MasterCard, Discover and Visa. If arranged prior to treatment, we can often help qualified patients arrange for interest-free financing.
We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Jeffrey B. Golder, DDS does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

Special emphasis is placed on the cleanliness and sterility of our equipment and instruments. The latest in sterile techniques is used, along with disposable products whenever possible. You will notice that our staff wears surgical scrub suits, and masks and disposable gloves whenever treating you or your family. We feel strongly that you have the right to feel safe in your dental office, and welcome you to discuss this with the staff whenever you wish.
We stress the importance of regular preventive maintenance visits. These visits may be at 3, 6, or 12 month intervals, depending on your individual needs. X-rays will only be taken as needed, rather than on each cleaning appointment. To be best assured of a convenient time, we encourage you to make your preventive maintenance appointments in advance.
By adhering to a regular schedule of preventive maintenance, we can help you keep your teeth and gums in good condition and can often avoid extensive dental treatment in the future.
